Burlington School scores 12 runs in baseball victory
LEWISVILLE — Will Stadler recorded three hits, scored four runs and drove in two runs as The Burlington School posted its first victory of the baseball season with a 12-1 rout of Forsyth Country Day on Saturday.
Sammy Edwards had two hits and scored three runs, and Tucker Holland finished with five RBI for the visiting Spartans (1-1-1), who produced 12 hits.
The Burlington School's Wagner Morrissette pitched a pair of scoreless innings, striking out four batters. Hayden Fleming and Landon Parker each allowed just one hit apiece on the mound.
Garrison Hall finished with one hit and one RBI for the host Furies (0-3).
