Wayne Country Day shook off a sluggish opening half to dismantle visiting Oakwood, 7-1 on Monday.
Nehemiah Shaw and Ben Cohen paced the outburst by scoring a combined four goals and registering two assists. Also scoring for the Chargers were Christian Garloch, Luis Lopez and Bash Attiah.
David Gurley contributed a pair of assists, while DJ Drew and Jack Talton notched one apiece.
"It was a well fought first half... Oakwood limited our chances," said WCDS coach Steve Ellis. "We rotated well off the bench in the game wnd will do so again tomorrow."
The Chargers travel to face neighbor Wayne Christian tonight at 7 p.m.
