Mac Gourlay, a junior at Carolina Day, has committed to play soccer at NC State University. Gourlay, an NCISAA 2A All-State, and a Carolinas Athletic Association (CAA) All-Conference performer, notified the NC State coaching staff of his decision last night.
Gourlay, a member of the NC Olympic Development Program and the Region 3 Olympic Development Team , had numerous offers on the table, but NC State was the right place for him, “ the minute I stepped on campus I felt at home.
