WESLEYAN 9, RABUN GAP 1

HIGH POINT — Jake Moebius went 2 for 2 with three RBIs and two runs scored as top-seeded Wesleyan Christian Academy rolled past ninth-seeded Rabun Gap for a 9-1 victory in the second round of the NCISAA 3A playoffs on Saturday at Ed Price Field.

Patrick Bailey finished 3 for 4 with an RBI and run scored as the Trojans improved to 18-1. Jay Dixon was 1 for 2 with two runs and two RBIs, while Justin Olczak was 2 for 3 with a run and Adam Lassiter was 1 for 3 with an RBI.

Riley Isenhour earned the win with two innings of scoreless relief. He scattered two hits and struck out two with no walks.

The Eagles finished 17-6.

Wesleyan hosts fourth-seeded Christ School (18-2) in Tuesday’s semifinal at Ed Price Field. Game time is to be determined. Christ School topped fifth-seeded Providence Grove 4-3 in eight innings on Saturday.
