HIGH POINT — Abby Pyke dished 41 assists and came up with 11 digs as No. 6 seed High Point Christian defeated Forsyth Countr y Day in the second round of the NCISAA 3A volleyball tournament Thursday. Set scores were 25-22, 25-27, 25-7, 25-22.
HPCA improves to 17-8 and advances to play at No. 3 Cary Christian on Saturday at 11 a.m.
Claire Cole provided 21 kills and five aces for the Cougars. Hadley Coats scooped 11 digs. Carson Brooks swatted 13 kills and added three blocks while Sydney Bell had eight kills.
