HIGH POINT — Alex Jordan slugged a go-ahead three-run home run in the bottom of the fifth inning to spark top-seeded Wesleyan Christian Academy to a 4-2 victor y over fourth-seeded Providence Day School in the NCISAA 4A semifinals on Tuesday night.

The Trojans (16-4) advance to host second-seedEd Charlotte Christian (25-6) in the best-of-three state championship series. Game 1 is Friday with Game 2, and if needed, Game 3, slated for Saturday, also at Wesleyan.

The Chargers finished 18-7
