CHARLOTTE – Wesleyan Christian fell 3-2 against Charlotte Christian in the first game of the NCISAA 4A baseball championship series Friday at Charlotte Christian.
The Knights scored the go-ahead run on a solo home run in the bottom of the fifth.
The teams play game 2 today at noon and, if necessary, game 3 will follow.
Charlotte Christian improved to 20-6 overall while the Trojans dropped to 16-5.
