We are happy to announce that Coach Rusty Bradley will join the Asheville Christian community as the head football coach of Lion Football! Coach Bradley will take the helm immediately and will be introduced to all returning players this coming Tuesday at Asheville Christian at 2:45 pm.
Coach Bradley has led many of his teams deep into the playoffs, capping off two seasons with Tennessee state championships and multiple final four appearances. He has coached 14 all-state quarterbacks, multiple all-state and collegiate level players at various positions, and two all-Americans. His football experience began at the collegiate level with assignments at Indiana University, University of Colorado, University of Illinois, and Louisiana Tech.
Coach Bradley took a new program at Christian Academy of Knoxville from its beginnings to two state championships. He also had a successful tenure at Grace Christian of Knoxville with state playoff wins and being chosen as Region Coach of the Year.
His coaching accolades are many, but his leadership of young men in a highly relational and mission-minded way is just as important to note. He has a passion for all aspects of his players lives on and off the football field. Coach Bradley will also serve the Asheville Christian community as the Assistant Director of Athletics.
As you can imagine, we are excited about the future of Lion Football and the continual growth and mission focus of ACA Athletics. All players, families, media, and Lion fans are invited to meet Coach Bradley on March 14 at 6:30 pm in the ACA Student Union.
