Dear Athletic Directors and Baseball Coaches,
Hello everyone, we are now in the 10th year of the Charger Diamond Classic. I wanted to send everyone a letter and the brackets for the Charger Diamond Classic that will be taking place on Thursday April 20, Friday April 21, and Saturday April 22. The first game will be at 1:30 and the second game will began at 4:30 on Thursday and Friday. The Saturday games will be at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. I have one batting cage for all teams and there is a bullpen down both foul lines. Teams will be allowed to take batting practice in the cages only before their game begins. Each team will be allowed to take infield/outfield for ten minutes before their game begins.
This year’s field is WCDS (10th time), Kerr Vance (1st time), Statesville Christian (1st time), and Grace Christian School of Sanford (4th). We are very excited about this field of teams. All teams in the field have been in their respective NCISAA baseball playoffs over the years.
There is $150 entry fee for the tournament and we would like for each team to bring a dozen game baseball (Wilson A1010). It is very important that the integrity of each team is exercised to the highest degree in honoring your commitment. I would ask if each team would bring the $150 entry fee to the tournament and the dozen balls to the tournament.
