The Greenies hung 12 runs on visiting Polk County in that frame and went on to win, 15-2, in Arden.

Ryan Zwier nearly hit for the cycle. He was 4-for-4 with a double, triple and three RBIs.

Christ School (5-0) got three hits, two RBIs and a stolen base from McKinley Bell. Anthony Vaglica was 2-4 with two RBIs and Sam Grabenstein went 2-4 with a pair of RBIs.

Zak Lintz pitched all five innings of a nonconference game shortened by the 10-run mercy rule. He allowed two earned runs and six hits. Lintz had four strikeouts.
