Christ School baseball coach James steps down
After 34 years of coaching varsity baseball, 26 of which were at Christ School, Pat James is stepping down as Head Baseball Coach. James will remain at Christ School as assistant varsity football coach and will assume other duties in the Athletic Department. During his lengthy and productive coaching career, Coach James won 507 career games, had 14 CAA Conference Championships, two MAC Conference Championships at Enka High School, and had 11 state playoff appearances. Christ School Headmaster, Paul Krieger said, “It is always tough to lose a veteran coach and mentor such as Pat, he has meant so much to so many Christ School boys over the years, I’m just glad he’s staying on with us.
