In Saturdays opener Rocky Mount exploded for seven runs in the third enroute to a 10-0 fine inning contest against Harrells. Leading 1-0 in the third RMA pushed across seven runs in the third on four Wlks, a pair of Crusader errors and base hits by Colby Freeman, Will Stewart, Colin Legaj and Jacob Braddy. The Eagles added their final two in the fifth on a hit batsman and back to back doubles by Stewart and Griffin Wingfield.

Etah Davis got the win for Rocky Mount while Cody Butler was the loser. Stewarts 2-3 led RMA while Andrew Smith was 2-3 for Harrells.
