Lady Chargers 2-0 after winning at WCD
GOLDSBORO — Wilson Christian picked up its second varsity girls basketball victory in as many outings with a 50-22 triumph Tuesday at Wayne Country Day.
Senior Presley Bissett paced the Lady Chargers with 17 points while Jenna Hunter added 10 points. Julianne Attoe had six points and a team-high eight rebounds.
Wilson Christian turned 25 steals into 22 points but head coach Brian Trull said that was somewhat negated by the Lady Chargers’ 25 turnovers.
Wilson Christian will be off until Tuesday, Nov. 17, when it hosts Grace Christian of Sanford.
