Freedom Christian’s Supica signs with Charlotte
CHARLOTTE — Freedom Christian Academy basketball standout Milos Supica has signed to play with Charlotte, the school announced Monday. The 6-foot-8 native of Belgrade, Serbia, averaged 21.3 points, 11 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game last season and was an NCISAA 2-A All-State selection for the Patriots.
“Charlotte felt like home,” Supica said in a statement released by Charlotte. “The fact that I will have a chance to play for Coach Mark Price is just unimaginable.” Charlotte is coached by the former Georgia Tech and NBA All-Star.
“Milos is a versatile four man who can score inside and outside,” Freedom Christian coach Dan Pruessner said in the news release. “He is a stretch four that is very athletic with good size. He can score with his back to the basket, but he can also spread the floor with his shooting. He is a good rebounder as well.”
