HIGH POINT —
High Point Christian Academy’s boys basketball team has added one of the nation’s top players for the upcoming season.
Edrice “Bam” Adebayo will transfer to HPCA from Pinetown Northside. The 6-foot-8, 230-pounder ranks as one of the premier power forwards in the class of 2016.
Adebayo is a top recruiting target of such schools as Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, North Carolina, N.C. State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.
Adebayo is the fourth big-name player to enroll at HPCA this offseason. The newcomers join a solid array of returning talent to give the Cougars the potential to rank among the nation’s best prep teams in 2015-16.
