Burlingon School Boys, Caldwell Girls Win TAC Tourny Titles

TAC 2A TOURNAMENT
GREENSBORO - The top-seeded Burlington School defeated second-seeded Westchester Country Day School 70-52 in the Triad Athletic Conference tournament title game at American Hebrew Academy on Friday.

The Spartans led 33-22 at halftime.

L.J. McCoy paced the Wildcats with 16 points. Caymen Bennett added 13 points, five assists and five steals for WCDS, while David Ayodele had 10 points.
Ayodele was named conference player of the year. Marshall Lange and McCoy joined him on the all-conference team.

The Wildcats (18-6) await word on their NCISAA playoff seeding. The state tournament starts Tuesday, weather permitting.
