Anna Blue Bentley scored a game-high 18 points, hitting six 3-pointers as visiting Statesville Christian defeated Burlington Christian Academy.

Mallory Sherrill had 17 points for Statesville Christian, while Jordan Ellis scored 11 points.

Abi Proffit scored a team-high 11 points for BCA in its season opener, with teammate Reagan Smith grabbing 10 rebounds
