BURLINGTON SCHOOL 75 THALES ACADEMY 44
The Burlington School placed three players in double-figure scoring and the Spartans breezed past visiting Thales Academy of Rolesville 75-44 in the semifinals of the Spartan Classic for boys’ basketball Friday night.
Ja’Dun Michael led the way for The Burlington School with 22 points. Michael Wade and Heath Gulledge added 18 points apiece.
Wade pulled down eight rebounds and had six assist for the Spartans (2-0).
The Burlington School will face Rabun Gap-Nacoochee from Georgia in today’s championship game.
