The Burlington School, a Preschool-12 independent school, is seeking a Healthful Living (Physical Education) teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills and a passion for working with students. The ability to coach after school sports or lead extracurricular activities is desired. Full-time positions entail teaching multiple levels of physical education from Preschool to 8th grade, advising, and actively participating in the extracurricular life of the school according to the school’s needs and the candidate’s particular talents and interests.
A successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, strength in collaborating with others, and a passion for working with students of all ages. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
