Head Varsity Field Hockey Coach - Fall 2019
Cape Fear Academy seeks a leader who exudes the following qualities in his or her work with young women: integrity, discipline, patience, enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, and inspirational leadership. The ideal candidate must demonstrate good sportsmanship, community pride, and professionalism. Responsibilities include coordinating all aspects of the sport, designing and implementing successful coaching strategies, and developing a positive rapport with students, parents, staff, and community. This person must exhibit high energy and the ability to lead both fellow coaches and students. The position will report to the Athletic Director and the assistant coaches on the varsity staff will report to this position.
Individuals should have successful experience coaching or playing the specific sport at the club, high school or college level and be available Monday through Friday. The season runs from the middle of August through mid-October. This is a part-time temporary position and includes a coaching stipend. Interscholastically, the school is a member of the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association (NCISAA).
