Thomas Law Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week: Jordan London, Community Christian School
Jordan London’s defensive effort helped her Community Christian School varsity girls basketball team pick up a win last week, making her this week’s Thomas Law Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week.
Jordan, a 5-foot-6 senior post, shut down visiting Greenville Pope John Paul II Catholic High center Sydnee Neal in the Lady Cyclones’ 37-25 victory on Friday, holding her to four points after Neal scored 26 in Pope John Paul II’s win over CCS the first time the teams met this season.
Jordan was named to the all-tournament team as the Lady Cyclones won the Hobgood Academy Holiday Tournament last month.
Jordan is currently ranked No. 1 in her senior class at Community Christian, holding a 4.0 unweighted GPA. She is president of the school’s Beta Club. She was an all-Carolina Christian Conference performer in girls cross-country last fall and has been a standout for the Lady Cyclones soccer team.
The daughter of Angie and Russ London of Bailey, Jordan has worked as a volunteer at Wilson Pregnancy Center.
She is undecided on her college choice now but hopes to attend medical school after completing her undergraduate degree.
