Christ School's Shuler sets WNC single-season passing records
Navy Shuler may have ended his junior season without a state title, but he now stands alone in the mountains.
The Christ School quarterback finished his season with 4,112 passing yards, becoming the first player in WNC history to throw for over 4,000 yards in a season.
Shuler broke an area record set last year by Reynolds quarterback Alex Flinn, who threw for 3,972 yards in 2017.
Shuler, who took Christ School to the NCISAA Division I state title game last Friday, completed 254-of-362 passes for 44 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 2018. He currently has a Division I offer from Tulane.
