Junior forward Michael Parker scored a game-high 19 points and added 15 rebounds to help Coastal Christian pick up a home victory.
The Centurions (4-2) took a 40-35 lead I to the fourth quarter, but the Scorpions (0-1) caught fire from the outside and took a 43-42 lead.
The game was tied at 55 before Coastal Christian went on a 7-0 run to take the lead for good.,
Sophomore point guard Kamron Greene finished with 13 points, all in the final period. He also added six rebounds and four steals.
"I'm real proud of them. What I thought we did well was to not get caught up in the moment," Coastal Christian coach Craig Wheeler said. "We started going inside to the big fella and Kamron controlled the tempo."
Eddie Smith scored a team-high 14 points for North Brunswick, which hit nine 3-pointers.
