It has been a most memorabable year thus far for Carmel Christian coach Joe Badgett. In February he won the NCISAA 3A Basketball State Championship in his first year as head coach of Carmel Christian.
Saturday night his daughter, Alexandra, won the title of Miss North Carolina and will represent the state in the Miss USA pageant later this year.
