Notes: Christ School finds itself two wins away from a NCISAA Division I state title. Only four teams are selected for the playoffs, and the Greenies drew a No. 3 seed and must travel to play No. 2 Trinity Christian on Friday night. The Greenies enter the playoffs with one of the country's top passers in junior Navy Shuler. According to MaxPreps, Shuler's 3,495 yards is the eighth-most of any high school quarterback in the nation. He's also thrown for 40 touchdowns to nine interceptions. Senior Kaedin Robinson leads WNC with 1,427 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns. Aydan White is second on the team with 860 yards and 10 touchdowns. Keyvaun Cobb has made the change to running back, and has rushed for 290 yards and three scores in the last three games for the Greenies. Cobb also leads the area with nine interceptions as a defensive back. The Crusaders are a run-first team, led by junior Cha-Von McEachern, who averages 154 rushing yards a game and has scored 19 touchdowns on the season. If Christ School can get a win, It'll face either No. 4 Providence Day — a team the Greenies defeated 21-14 in October — or No. 1 Charlotte Christian. The Knights are the defending state champions, and defeated Christ School is last year's state semifinal 52-12.
