Davidson Day’s Chad Grier named assistant for U.S. Army All-American Bowl

Davidson Day football coach Chad Grier, whose team won the N.C. Independent Schools Division I state title last month, has been named an assistant coach for the 2016 U.S. Army All-American Bowl team.
Grier is one of seven assistants on the East team. The game, which features some of the nation’s top senior high school players, is scheduled for Jan. 9 in San Antonio.
At Davidson Day, Grier’s teams have won four state titles in the last five seasons. The Patriots won one at the Division 3 level, and two in Division 2 while losing once in Division 2 last season.
