Nathan Lozevski helped his Greenfield School varsity boys soccer team take a step closer to a third straight state championship last week, making him this week’s Farris & Thomas Law Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week.
Nathan, a junior midfielder, scored two goals and made an assist in the Knights’ 9-0 win over Southside Christian of Clayton to start Greenfield’s playoff run Friday. The Knights will host Sanford Grace Christian in the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association 1-A championship Saturday. For the season, Nathan has 13 goals and nine assists.
The son of Jonathan and Carri Lozevski of Wilson, Nathan has a 4.2 GPA at Greenfield, where he takes Advanced Placement courses in psychology and English language as well as Honors classes in chemistry, Spanish and precalculus.
Nathan serves as Student Government Association and National Honor Society vice president at Greenfield and is also a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Spanish Club, Trivia Club and Environmental Club. He previously was in Greenfield’s Chick-fil-A Leader Academy.
Nathan has served as a volunteer for ARC of Wilson as well as at Greenfield’s annual soccer camp and the school’s Haunted Trail Halloween fundraiser.
He plays for the Wilson Youth Soccer Association ‘04 boys team.
