Morrison, Blues knock off previously-undefeated Cavaliers
ASHEVILLE – Rashad Morrison had 137 yards of total offense along with both a receiving and rushing touchdown Saturday as Asheville School knocked off the previously-unbeaten Anderson (S.C.) Cavaliers, 17-14.
Blues quarterback Ahmad Galimore completed 13 of his 21 attempts for 137 yards and one touchdown with one interception.
Hank Boyd’s 34-yard field goal in the second quarter were the first points for either football team at Arbogast Field. Morrison followed with a 23-yard touchdown run and 7-yard touchdown catch, both in the third quarter.
Morrison was last week's Ingles Athlete of the Week.
