Bethel Christian wins first night home game
Having some home cooking did wonders for Bethel Christian on Friday.
The Trojans picked up their first win of the season, defeating Wayne Christian 36-6.
Bethel Christian (1-5) didn’t disappoint in its home opener and the first night game at the school since bringing the program back.
The Trojans ran for 381 yards, led by Zach Boyd’s 175 and Austin Eubanks’ 100. Each had two touchdowns, with Eubanks’ 7-yard run with 23 seconds remaining in the second quarter gave Bethel Christian a 14-6 halftime advantage. The score was the start of 30 unanswered with the Trojans registering their best offensive output of the season.
