Christ School football adds Division I prospect to roster
With less than a month before the start of the 2019 football season, Christ School has added another Division I prospect to its roster.
Defensive back Langston Long announced his transfer to Christ School from Hylton High School in Woodbridge, Virginia on July 31.
Long has several offers, including Villanova, and has reclassified to the Class of 2021. He had a team leading 74 tackles with two interceptions and four pass break ups last season and could be a viable options at wide receiver for the Greenies, joining N.C State commit Aydan White and Cherokee transfer Cade Mintz.
Also returning for Christ School is senior quarterback Navy Shuler, who passed for over 4,000 yards as a junior. The Greenies went 10-2 in 2018 and lost in the NCISAA Division I state title game.
