Notes: Christ School showed in Week 1 just how potent its running attack will be with Owen transfer Sidney Gibbs, who rushed for 281 yards on 16 carries for four scores. With quarterback Navy Shuler out with an arm injury, his cousin, West Schuler, has filled in, completing 8-of-11 passes for 66 yards, including 39 of those yards to Kevin Williams. Shuler has done his best work on defense, securing a team-high 16 tackles from the linebacker position. Carson Jones added 12 tackles in the Week 1 win while Landon Cooke and Ross Oakley each had two sacks. Christ School is currently ranked No. 2 in the NCISAA state poll.
