RALEIGH — Caleb Homol completed 10 of 21 passes for 136 yards and three touchdowns as High Point Christian Academy rolled past Ravenscroft 31-8 on Friday night.
Homol tossed TD passes of 25 and 6 yards to Lance Boykin. That duo also connected for a 2-point conversion pass. Homol found Br ycen Thomas for a 14-yard TD pass.
C h a n c e C l e n c y rushed 13 times for 104 yards and scored on a 50-yard run for the Cougars (2-0). LaBrent Crews rushed 6 times for 73 yards for HPCA.
Defensively, Jared Torrence recorded six tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble for HPCA, which Ty Ragsdale had seven tackles and Copeland Petitfils had 11 tackles, a 39-yard field goal and made 2 of 3 PATs.
The Ravens fell to 1-1.
