ASHEVILLE — Gavin Kuld rushed for one touchdown and passed for two more, and Pedro Moreno ran for two as High Point Christian crushed host Asheville School 49-0 on Friday.Kuld completed 5 of 11 passes for 200 yards, 80 of them on a scoring strike to Br ycen Thomas and one of 72 yards to John Saunders Jr. Kuld also ran 7 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter.Moreno gained 102 yard on seven carries. He scored the Cougars first touchdown on a 36-yard run in the first quarter and added a 8-yard run in the second.Saunders returned an interception 25 yards for a touchdown that put HPCA in front 36-0 at halftime.Thomas finished with three catches for 96 yards. Wistar Allen and Chase Cox had 10 tackles each, and Noah Lowe had six. Cox also grabbed an inter-ception.HPCA improves to 5-1 and plays host to Charlotte Latin at the High Point Sports Complex on Friday.0
