The Patriots rattled off their third straight victory and improved to 3-2 on the season while John Paul falls to 1-3 in their inaugural season.

Senior running back Trey Mclawhorn finished the night with 18 carries for 155 yards, five receptions for 129 total yards and four total touchdowns. Senior Blake Smith added 118 yards and a touchdown and freshman quarterback Wilkes Thomas completed seven of his 10 pass attempts for 118 yards and three touchdowns.

Senior Hunter Blythe led the Parrott defense with 12 total tackles. Parrott trailed 14-7 after the first quarter, but outscored the Saints 43-12 the remainder of the night.

The Patriots have a bye this week and will travel to Raleigh Oct. 4 to face GRACE Christian. The Eagles are currently 3-1 on the season. Parrott has just four regular season games remaining.
