Cannon School falls to Pine Lake Prep
CONCORD, N.C. -- The Cannon School football team fell to undefeated Pine Lake Prep, 20-0, at Randy Marion Field Friday night.
First-year coach Brad Hoover said the Cougars (1-3, 1-2 NCISAA Freelance Conference) continue making mental errors, costly turnovers and cannot get the ball in the red zone.
The Cougars trailed at the half, 8-0. In the second half, they allowed an additional 12 points.
“We just weren’t good enough -- we had our chances,” Hoover said. “We’re trying to find our identity.”
