Notes: Asheville School and the Asheville Saints have played four times since 2009 with the Blues winning all four games. The Saints, however, are out to prove they are the real deal in 2019. The Saints enter the game 2-0 on the season and are enjoying nice production on offense. Junior Jack Jones leads the Saints with 228 rushing yards and three touchdowns and Wilson Mason has been able to move the ball through the air to the tune of 200 yards and three scores. Mason's favorite target, Jaden Watkins, has hauled in five catches for 111 yards and two touchdowns. After a Week 1 loss, Asheville School's offense came alive in a win over Oakbrook Prep last week. Senior Thomas Good rushed for 217 yards and a touchdown, breaking off a 78-yard run in the process. Good also has 18 tackles on the year, including two sacks. Connor Davis has completed 22-of-35 passes for 189 yards and thee touchdowns this season, and the Blues are still waiting for athlete Chris Hemphill to get healthy.
