NCISAA Playoffs

No. 4 Christ School (5-3) at No. 1 Charlotte Country Day School (9-1)

Last Week: Christ School won 40-13 over Asheville School; CCDS won 36-17 over Charlotte Latin

Last Meeting: CCDS won 13-7 (2019)

Notes: This Division I state semifinal game features a rematch of a game played two weeks ago in Charlotte with the Buccaneers picking up a six-point win. That game was a defensive battle with CCDS scoring 13 points in the third quarter. Christ School quarterback Navy Shuler completed 16-of-23 passes for 237 yards in the loss but was also picked off once. The Greenies have lost three games this season and all three of those teams, CCDS, Charlotte Latin and Charlotte Christian, are in the Division I playoffs. Christ School is looking to get back to the state championship game where they lost to Charlotte Christian last year. CCDS is led by junior quarterback Russell Tabor, who has passed for 1,341 yards and 14 touchdowns and senior running back Quentin Cooper, who has rushed for 1,038 yards and 10 touchdowns.
