Notes: After taking down Murphy 27-7 and enjoying a bye in Week 5, Christ School, the Citizen Times' No. 1 ranked team, will travel to Charlotte for possibly its toughest test of the young season. Charlotte Latin enters Week 6 undefeated and with a defense that's given up on 19 points in four wins. The Hawks, however, have not faced a team like Christ School this year. The Greenies sport a sizable offensive and defensive line that has helped them outscore three opponents 109-27. The offense is led by senior quarterback and App. State commit Navy Shuler, who has completed 33-of-64 passes for 546 yards and eight touchdowns. Sophomore Pierce Hammonds has been a pleasant surprise at the running back position, carrying the ball 33 times for 289 yards and five touchdowns. N.C. State commit Aydan White leads the team with seven catches for 196 yards and five scores while 6-foot-7 tight end Charlie Browder created matchup problems for any defense. Read Sunn leads Christ School's defense with 49 tackles and seven for a loss. Kiki Alcime has a WNC best six sacks.
