Notes: Christ School opened conference play last week with an easy win over Victory Christian and looks to move to 2-0 against a team it beat by 40 points last year. The Greenies continue to have one of the most explosive offenses in WNC behind junior quarterback Navy Shuler, who earned his first college offer from Tulane this week and leads the area with 2,109 passing yards and 26 touchdowns. Christ School has not had much of a running game since Sidney Gibbs went down with a season-ending injury, but it hasn't needed it. Kaedin Robinson leads the team and WNC with 46 receptions for 940 and 14 touchdowns while Aydan White has 33 catches for 613 yards and eight scores. Rabun Gap's defense has been susceptible to strong passing games this year and could find itself in hot water against Shuler and company. The Eagles' biggest offensive weapon is sophomore running back Pato Torres, who is averaging over 125 yards a game. Christ School held one of the area's best running team's - Robbinsville - to 158 yards earlier this season.
