HICKORY GROVE CHRISTIAN (0-2) at ASHEVILLE SCHOOL (1-0), 4:30 p.m.
Last week: Hickory Grove Christian lost to North Raleigh Christian, 50-28; Asheville School beat the Asheville Saints, 54-0, on Monday.
Last year: The two teams did not play.
Notes: Look, but don't touch. Asheville School has kept contact to a minimum this week with David Schill (195 passing yards, 82 rushing yards and three combined touchdowns) and the Blues having to play their second game in five days. The first half of the quick turnaround – a 54-point rout on Labor Day – couldn't have come off much better. Schill put three touchdown throws into the hands of Ahmad Gallimore (six receptions for 102 yards), while Rashad Morrison (89 yards, three touchdowns) also caught three balls for 41 yards and Chris Amoroso made a pair of receptions for 23 yards. Monday's game at Arbogast Field was rescheduled after lightning created safety concerns on Friday. The Blues have 11 returning starters (six offense, five defense) from last year's 5-4 team. Skylar Mayer (139 yards, two touchdowns) and Jacob O'Connor (115 yards, one touchdown) are the top offensive weapons for Hickory Grove, which is based out of Charlotte.
