PREGAME CHATTER: There is a lot of turnover at Rocky Mount Academy this season. Gone are the two-time defending state champions’ head coach and two star running backs, and there are plenty of questions surrounding just how good this team can be.
WHAT IT MEANS: There is no better way to assess where you are as a team than to battle the team you beat for a championship last year.
DIFFERENCE MAKER: Someone needs to replace the production of Jacob Hunter and Rod White, and the load will mainly fall on the shoulders of sophomore Caleb Lambert, who is a promising player in his own right.
