Notes: A week after dispatching state-ranked Charlotte Latin, Christ School will host Providence Day in a non-conference matchup. The Greenies continue a perfect run through the regular season behind WNC rushing leader Sidney Gibbs. The junior has 1,559 yards rushing, averaging 259 yards a game – also a best in WNC. The Greenies have adjusted to life without quarterback Navy Shuler, but his cousin, West Shuler, has taken over the reins nicely. The junior has completed 16-of-27 passes for 263 yards and two touchdowns since Navy’s injury. Providence Day’s offense features talented sophomore quarterback Cody Carter, who has passed for over 1,700 yards this season.
