Notes: There is no love lost between public and private school football fans. It's fun to give them a chance to have bragging rights against the other. Since 2010, Christ School is 3-2 against WNC public school programs, splitting a two-game series with Hendersonville and winning its last two games against Robbinsville, in 2016 and 2017.The Black Knights defeated the Greenies in 2010. The 2018 edition of this game, should be a lot of fun. Robbinsville enters this game on the back of routs of North Georgia (54-8) and Enka (54-13). The Black Knights have been led by their rushing attack behind junior Rylee Anderson (279 yards) and sophomore Lex Hooper (222 yards). Robbinsville has averaged 300 yards on the ground so far this season while quarterback Landon Orr has completed 4-of-6 passes for 141 yards for two scores. Christ School showed last week that success was possible without standout running back Sidney Gibbs, who was lost for the season in Week 2 with a right leg injury. Without Gibbs, the Greenies took to the air in Week 3 behind quarterback Navy Shuler, who has passed for over 350 yards in two consecutive games. Shuler has completed 57-of-86 passes for 907 yards this season, throwing nine touchdowns to one interception. Robbinsville may struggle to slow down Christ School's speedy receivers, including Kaedin Robinson, who has 21 receptions for 521 yards and eight touchdowns.
