Potential breakout players: Deumbre Ginyard, WR/DB, Jr.; Cha’Von McEachern, RB/LB, So.; Victor Loftin, OL/DL, Fr.
Coach’s outlook: “We’re still kind of young, but I expect us to be pretty solid. I even expect us to be better than last year. We feel like we should be strong in all phases of the game, especially defensively. I expect a lot out of my defensive and offensive line because not only are we big, we are also pretty athletic. I just expect big things. The goal is always to get to the championship, all we can do is try to get better every day, week to week, each practice, each game.”
910Preps.com evaluation: The Crusaders reached the state semifinals last year before being ousted by Statesville Christian. They lost a key piece in Lamon McGill Jr. (Elizabeth City State), but their size and strength may help them overcome that to make another long playoff run.
