Providence Day 41, Olympic 26:

Freshman Nickel Fields made an auspicious start for the Chargers, returning an interception 59 yards for a touchdown and catching a 10-yard pass from Cody Cater for another score.

Cater threw for three touchdowns, and game most valuable player Jacolbe Cowan harassed Olympic throughout the game from his defensive end position.

The Trojans, playing for the first time under head coach Jason Fowler, who moved to Olympic from Rocky River in the offseason, got a big game from running back Jamik Edmunds. He accounted for more than 200 yards’ offense, scoring on a 69-yard run and a 65-yard pass from Dylan Earney.
