Notes: Dating to 2011, Robbinsville has won eight straight games against Rabun Gap. Last year's nine-point win for the Black Knights was one of the series' closer affairs, but Robbinsville looks stronger than ever after putting up 54 points on 3A Erwin last week. No one has had an answer for Robbinsville's running game so far this season, led by senior Rylee Anderson (378 yards, 6 TDs) and junior Lex Hooper (253 yards, 4 TDs). Anderson also leads the team with 34 tackles and a sack and is a dangerous returner on special teams. The Black Knights are averaging 247 yards a game on the ground and another 74 through the air behind quarterback Nathan Collins (18-of-30, 222 yards, 2 TDs). Rabun Gap has been been slightly more balanced on offense, averaging 159 yards a game though the air and 92 yards on the ground. Sophomore quarterback Matt Linn has completed 35-of-55 passes for 461 yards and six touchdowns to one interception.
