W I L M I N G T O N — Fourth-seeded Cape Fear Academy’s girls defeated fifth-seeded High Point Christian Academy 51-37 in the NCISAA 3A state quarterfinals on Saturday. The Hurricanes (18-7) led 19-14 after the first quarter, 31-18 at halftime and 38-28 after three periods. The Cougars finished 16-8.
