The Kerr Vance Lady Spartans (5-6) were knocked off in the first round of the KVA Holiday Invitational tournament by Franklin Academy Friday evening, but redeemed themselves by defeating Pope John Paul II in the consolation match Saturday afternoon.
Kerr-Vance Academy’s Kennedy Adcock and Bonnie Evans were both named to the All-Tournament squad after two impressive performances. Adcock scored 19 points Friday and followed up that terrific outing with an 18-point showing Saturday afternoon. Evans netted 29 points over the two-game span for the Spartans, while also recording 10 steals in the win over Pope John Paul II.
