Hickory Grove alumna Lauren White as the new Varsity Women’s Basketball head coach for the 2019-2020 season!
Athletic Director Jim Rhodes said, “Lauren brings a wealth of basketball knowledge to our program. She will be a great addition to our school and athletic department.”
White graduated from HGCS in 2010, where she was a 4-time all-state performer and a key member of the 2009 state championship team. She played college basketball at the University of Southern California and Pfeiffer University. She holds the record for all-time and single season blocked shots at Pfeiffer, and she was ranked 7th in the nation for shot blocking during her time at the university. White also earned two academic athlete awards for maintaining a GPA above 3.5.
