HUNTERSVILLE — Lance Boykin and Chance Clency rushed for two touchdowns apiece as High Point Christian Academy rolled past SouthLake Christian 43-0 on Friday night.
Boykin finished with 89 yards rushing and TDs of 64 and 11 yards for the Cougars (7-1), while Clency carried 9 times for 88 yards and TDs of 17 and 18 yards. Jaydan Van Eaten had a 64-yard punt return for a touchdown, while David Butler had a 12-yard TD pass to Ty Ragsdale and the HPCA defense had a safety.
HPCA recorded five interceptions. Wistar Allen recorded 15 tackles and three sacks for the Cougars, while Copeland Petitfils had 13 tackles and three sacks to go with four PATS. R.J. Evans had five tackles and three sacks and Theron Ellington had five tackles and two sacks. John Cody Petitfils kicked a PAT for HPCA
